Dog swimming is 30 minutes and costs £25 for one dog, Second dog is an additional £15. These prices include a lifejacket for your dog. We encourage you to swim with your own pets. Buoyancy aids are compulsory for pet owners if you are going in the water, wetsuits are advised. Wetsuits for yourself are available to hire- Online £5 or £7.50 on the day. Please note that wetsuits are non- refundable.

Most frequent questions and answers
Please keep your dog on a lead at all times, as there will be other dogs at the lake. Even if you are not swimming with your dog, they must remain on a lead until it is their turn to go in the water. When it’s time for your dog to swim, please proceed to the Paddleboard area and hand your dog to the staff member who will be in the water with the other dogs.
Before arriving at Shepperton Splash, please take your dog for a short walk to the small dog park located to the left as you drive into the field. Remember to pick up after your dog and dispose of their waste in the designated dog waste bins.
No we mostly open during the summer months as the swimming is all outside

One session purchase covers one dog. If you are swimming with your dog, you can bring up to two dogs per session for an additional cost of £15.00, which includes a life jacket for your dog. Please note that we allow a maximum of four dogs per session per staff member. Additionally, there should be at least one person present for every two dogs.
Our staff are in attendance to instruct you on the correct and safe use of the facilities. They are not available to assist with swimming instruction, looking after your pet, looking after your children or providing any kind of medical advice whatsoever.
Yes. Our sessions are designed for you as owners to enjoy spending time with your dogs and developing a deeper bond with them.
No, we do not offer swimming lessons, we will try to provide you with some guidance on the best ways for you to get your dog comfortable with swimming, but this is swimming session for you to enjoy with your dog.
We don’t have a specific recommended age for your dog to start swimming; this decision is entirely up to you. However, please ensure that your dog is fully vaccinated before their first swim to guarantee their safety. Best to ask your vet for advice.
All children under 16yrs are not allowed to swim in the lake with their dog. Only staff or adults can swim with dogs.
We recommend a wetsuit and buoyancy aid. (available to hire at £5.00 each) If not a full swimsuit/shorts will be fine but we do recommend you bringing a long sleeve Rash vest as your dog’s claws can be surprisingly sharp. In the colder months we do recommend wetsuits.
Yes, there are changing facilities at the lake. Be sure to bring towels to dry your dogs and yourself after swimming. There are dog robes available to buy at the lake.
Most dogs are natural swimmers although they may need a little encouragement the first time but most get in fine and swim around with a little encouragement by the owner. Once they have been in the first few times they generally love the lake.
In our experience, most dogs are great swimmers. All dogs that go in the lake will have a doggie life jacket on ,our life Jacket sizes go from small to extra large.
We recommend speaking to your vet prior to booking them in for a leisure swim. We do not offer hydrotherapy. Again, If you are concerned with anything we would always suggest you ask your vet if they think it would be of benefit.
Please ensure your dog has been fed at least 3 hours to prior to their swim, and taken on a walk before their swim.

We advise you to please not wear jewellery that can come off during your swim. Please take note that dogs claws are sharp and they can get hooked onto your jewellery and either hurt themselves or you. Any item that is left behind will be put into our Lost Property. We will not be held responsible for any lost items.
Our cancellation policy is we refund you 100% of your money outside of the 2 weeks of your booking date. If you cannot attend your booking you will have one chance to move it free of charge. If you cannot attend the second date you will lose 100% of your money.
